Stuti Panchal: Co-President
Stuti is a senior Neuroscience Major, French and Chemistry Minor with a certificate in the Conceptual Foundations of Medicine.
At Pitt, Stuti is an undergraduate researcher at the Cunningham Laboratory conducting sensory and neurodegenerative research. Specifically, I study acquired hearing loss and the impact of noise exposure, looking at specific protein localization and trafficking in deaf vs hearing mouse models to analyze the underlying molecular mechanisms. She is also a volunteer and ambassador at UPMC Montefiore/Presbyterian for Hands Down We Nailed It, a program where she paints patients' nails, provide hand massaging services, and facilitate engaging conversations. She will also be a hospice volunteer for the ANOVA Home Healthcare System through the Athena program. Finally, she is local dog-walker for HARP's North Side shelter. She has also been an undergraduate teaching assistant for Honors Biology I/II and Biochemistry, and she is currently a UTA for Dr. O'Reilly's Biochemistry course.
In her free time, she absolutely love reading and binging movies/TV shows! When the weather's nice, she enjoys going to lakes and beaches to swim, hike, and kayak. She also loves traveling and exploring new places, whether it be discovering local hidden gems in Pittsburgh or traveling abroad. With her friends, you'll often catch them having weekly game nights :)

Sophie Stefancic: Co-President
Sophie is a senior Biology Major and Social Work and Chemistry Minor, with a CFM Certificate.
Sophie does clinical and translational research in Pediatric Rheumatology in the Torok lab, where they study Scleroderma which is an autoimmune connective tissue disorder. Shv also volunteers at Children's in the NICU where she hold premature infants and she also do Buddies on Call for kids that stay long times in the hospital. She also sit on the Taskforce for Transition in the Kazmerski lab studying the transition between pediatric and adult care. She focuses a lot of my energy in research and advocacy work through my social work curriculum and look forward to a life guiding children and families.
She is from a small beach town called Pacifica, CA just south of San Francisco. She loves to run, surf, and study tidepool ecology with my friends. In Pittsburgh she enjoys running with the Endorphins run club, and you can also always catch her running in Shadyside. She is a foodie at heart and her favorite candy is peanut butter m&m's! For her there is nothing better than long chats with friends and getting out in nature and enjoying the sun!

Abi Naidich: Co-Vice President
Abi is a junior Chemistry Major with a Global Health Certificate.
She is a WIPF Group Researcher, a chemistry lab at Pitt. She is also a mentor at the Office of Undergraduate, a General Chemistry Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, a Nationally Registered EMT, and the Vice President of the social sorority Chi Omega.
In her free time, Abi enjoys running, reading, exploring Pittsburgh, and spending time with friends of course!

Ria Sai: Co-Vice President
Ria is a junior chemistry and philosophy double major with a bioethics certificate.
She does biostatistics research in the Tseng lab, is the secretary for the American Chemical Society (ACS), and is a TA for Organic Chemistry I.
In her free time, Ria enjoys crocheting and knitting, reading and hiking!

Heather Stephenson: Secretary
Heather is a junior Biological Sciences Major and Chemistry and Italian Minor.
She is a Study Lab Learning Guide for General Chemistry 1 & 2 and UTA for Foundations of Biology 1. Additionally, she does microbiology research.
In her free time, Heather enjoys reading, playing with her dog, and walking to new places around Oakland.

Desmond Flanagan: VCR Co-Chair
Desmond is a junior Emergency Medicine Major and Chemistry Minor.
He is a volunteer firefighter, water rescuer, and EMT for the West Ridge Fire Department. Additionally, he is a patient care technician at UPMC Hamot Senior, and Basic Life Support Instructor.
In his free time, Desmond enjoys lifting, playing video games, running, and cooking.

Parth Patel: VCR Co-Chair
Parth is a junior Biochemistry Major and Neuroscience and Chemistry Minor with a Certificate in the Conceptual Foundations of Medicine.
He is a researcher at the Shiva Lab in the Biomedial Science Towers, researching heart failure. Additionally, he is a patient care technician at UPMC Presbyterian, a volunteer at the Emergency Department at UPMC Shadyside, and a member of Phi Delta Epsilon, a co-ed pre-med fraternity.
In his free time, Parth loves to travel, hike, and play tennis.

Lauren Giovagnoli: PR Co-Chair
Lauren is a senior Biological Sciences Major and Chemistry and Sociology Minor with a Certificate in the Conceptual Foundations of Medicine.
She is a research assistant at Magee-Womens Research Institute, Patient Experience Volunteer at Presby, Transplant Guardian Angel at Presby, UTA for Human Physiology lab, and a member of the social sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma.
In her free time, Lauren loves to travel, hang out with friends, and try new places to eat around Pittsburgh!

Allie Shoranova: PR Co-Chair
Allie is a sophomore Chemistry and German Major and Social Work Minor, with a Certificate in the Conceptual Foundations of Medicine.
Allie is a research assistant at a pediatric hematology/oncology lab at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Additionally, she volunteers at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
In her free time, Allie loves running, going to Pilates class, reading, knitting, and spending time with friends!

Jennifer Genell: Co-Business Manager
Jennifer is a sophomore Neuroscience Major and Creative Writing and Chemistry Minor with a Certificate in the Conceptual Foundations of Medicine.
Jennifer does research at a Traumatic Brain Injury lab at UPMC Children's Hospital, volunteers at UPMC Children’s Hospitals, is a PT Aid, and is a member of Pitt Juggling Club, Women in Surgery Empowerment, and Philosophy Club.
In her free time, Jennifer loves reading new books, writing, bullet journaling, and trying new coffee shops.

Nandita Kalyan: Co-Business Manager
Nandita is a junior Computational Biology Major, with Chemistry, Applied Statistics, and Information Sciences Minor.
Nandita does research and work at a computational immunology lab at the Assembly in Shadyside. Additionally, she recently did shadowing at UPMC and recently got her Life Support certification that she’s looking to put to use this coming year. She’s also a member of Strong Girl Strong Woman and the EAT@PITT club!
In her free time, Nandita loves watching movies and TV or hiking with her dog. She also loves exploring Pittsburgh on the weekends and has used almost every free mode of transposition she could get! She also recently became determined to learn how to crochet.
